This year, HAMBURG OPEN is significantly expanding its cinematography offering. For the first time, the new Cine & Camera Area will provide a dedicated platform for camera professionals, filmmakers, producers, content creators and technical decision-makers. 

At the heart of the area is the new Cine & Camera Stage, featuring a programme of practical presentations, panel discussions and live demonstrations. Topics will range from camera technology and lighting to artificial intelligence, sustainability and new approaches to content production. 

The Bundesverband der Fernsehkameraleute (BVFK) and the German Society of Cinematographers (BVK) are participating as key content partners. The Association of Technical Service Providers for Film & Television (VTFF) complements the new area as an additional industry partner.

The programme for the HAMBURG OPEN 2027 will be published shortly before the event.
